🎉 Congratulations to Kritika Subramanian, MD, MS, of Montefiore Medical Center, recipient of the 2026 Harvey L. Neiman Grant — selected from our largest applicant pool to date.
Her project, “Evaluating the Cost-Effectiveness and Impact on Quality of Life of Radioligand Therapy for Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer,” will examine the economic and policy implications of radioligand therapy for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, with a focus on barriers to adherence for underserved populations. The goal: a policy tool to guide reimbursement decisions and promote more equitable cancer care.
This work builds on Dr. Subramanian’s prior research, “Complex Implementation Factors Demonstrated When Evaluating Cost-Effectiveness and Monitoring Racial Disparities Associated with [18F]DCFPyL PET/CT in Prostate Cancer Men” (Scientific Reports, 2023 doi: 10.1038/s41598-023-35567-w.), conducted with co-investigator Joseph R. Osborne, MD, PhD, FACR, of Well Cornell Medicine.
