Neiman Institute Research Earns Top Honors in Leading Radiology Journals

The Harvey L. Neiman Health Policy Institute is proud to announce that three of its research articles have been recognized with prestigious awards from leading radiology journals for their impact on policy, education, and practice management.

“Recognition from leading journals like JACR and AJR reinforces the importance of our mission to advance evidence-based decision-making in radiology,” added Elizabeth Rula, PhD, Executive Director of the Neiman Institute.

JACR “Best of 2025” – Health Services Research and Policy — honors research that advances understanding of imaging utilization and workforce trends. To be featured in Jan. 2026 issue of JACR.

AJR “Best of 2025” – Policy, Quality, and Practice Management — selected by the ARRS Science and Innovations Committee, underscores the Institute’s leadership in shaping evidence-based policy and practice standards.

Self-Interpretation of Imaging Studies by Ordering Providers: Frequency and Associated Provider and Practice Characteristics

Led by Eric Christensen, PhD, with co-authors Chi-Mei Liu, PhD, Elizabeth Y. Rula, PhD, and Vijay M. Rao, MD.
